Artifact Wall. Hsinchu, Taiwan

I think walls like these which exist everywhere in the cities of Taiwan are a local form of urban art. Their is something fascinating about how the walls of cheap posters and hand written announcements transform themselves overtime. I love them. In an art installation I did I tried to recreate one of these walls, spending hours writing nonsense on paper and walking around gathering original samples. Naturally it didn't look as good as what you see on the street.
