This photo was captured again in the downtown area of Hsinchu at a time when most other people are still asleep. I often give Hsinchu a hard time but take away all the problems with traffic, toxic air, and you have a pretty interesting place to live. If you like exploring the back streets of cities like I do Hsinchu has quite a bit to offer and except for the chaos created by the way people drive here its safe.
If you are a visitor from "away" you might make sure you get a thorough check up when you return home if you plan on sampling all the food from carts like this. I picked up a nasty bug which can only be detected by a test as their seem to be no symptoms from my many trips to Thailand. Despite what the locals here will tell you, the food is no more clean here on the street than in Bangkok.
