i visted taipei, taiwan, a year ago. it was my first visit ever in asia, and i must say that taipei and it's inhabitants made quite a big impression on me: people were friendly, eager to help (when i looked like the lost tourist that i acually was:)), and it was really, really hot. if i have the chance, i'll definitely go back to taiwan. i can almost smell and feel this picture. good one:)
