Taken at the Taipei Zoo on seemingly the most crowded day of the year. I'm a people watcher and this was a perfect day for it as the Taipei Zoo was packed. I always get a bit uncomfortable when in a confined space with a thousands of people like this. It only takes one small incident to spark some kind of panic - otherwise it was a great day to spend in Taipei. One of the highlights of the day for me was stocking up on imported beer from that market in Taipei 101. We hicks out here in the hinterlands of Taiwan don't get to enjoy these luxurious trappings of big city life.
