This photo is the opposing view as the last photograph. Taken near the cottage on Canoe Cove at late in the evening. It takes some getting used to the high northern sun that we have here. It creates allot of shadows but usable light up to around 9pm. Much later than in Taiwan.
It's a lovely walk along this beach when the tide is out. An experience you share with many people who have cottages along the shore and a multitude of seagulls. It's a rough beach, not quite like PiPi Island in Thailand and the like, but it's clean and devoid of all the questionable commercialism you see at so many resorts in Thailand. I shouldn't be mentioning Thailand and Canoe Cove in the same breath but the beaches here are incredibly quiet.
The weather has been cooperating. Now if the temperature was only a bit higher in the mornings. It creates a certain toughness to go down on a beach like this at sunrise.
