Sunset. Canoe Cove, Prince Edward Island

Well this certainly isn't a scene I would photograph in Hsinchu and likely couldn't. I have been spending the past week visiting my home, Prince Edward Island, the place made famous for it's rolling hills, red mud, and that girl in the story books who has red hair. It's been a great visit to date. Can you imagine a place where you can see the blue sky, smell flowers in the air, and people actually wave and say hello? It's my first trip home in the summer in almost 7 years and it has made such an impression on me that I am determined to come back to live for the summers.

This particular photo is down the beach a couple hundred meters from the family cottage at sunset. Not a particularly attractive beach but it has character all it's own. Haven moved to a digital slr set-up for this trip means I am taking literally hundreds of photos. This also means that most of these photos don't look so good. I hope to share a number of them over the next week or two.
