The Star Thai. restaurant on Minzu rd conveniently located very near where I live. As far as I know the best sit down Thai. restaurant in this part of the city. If only we had a Greek and a good Indian restaurant. Living in a city like Hsinchu you celebrate these little culinary treasures - I still remark about how great it is that the salad bar at the Lake Shore Hotel has 5 different kinds of lettuce. It's not Taipei. It's not even Halifax.

Yes you can certainly walk there from the train station. It might take you 10 minutes.

Today my wife and I went to eat at Star Thai. We sampled two dishes and enjoyed both a lot. The quality of food there rivals most good Thai restaurants in the city where we live, and we have quite a lot of good restaurants in Seattle.
