Older Couple. Hsinchu, Taiwan

This is a snapshot of an older couple out for a stroll at the East gate in the downtown area.

I haven't taken much time lately for photography - I don't really know what I have been doing that results in me being so busy. I'm busy being busy perhaps. When you work outside the comforts of a company you start to become obsessed with productivity. Or maybe it's the age I am entering. I cannot not stop thinking about how time has sped up. I haven't had a day in recent memory where I wished the day would come to an end, where the clock seemed to be moving slower. The opposite is true. The working hours are too short - I want 48 hr days. Hence my obsession with getting things done, anything, I just want to finish something. Being the type of person I am I am in constant battle with myself, always critiquing and always procrastinating on key tasks. Is it a characteristic of approaching middle age (still some time left) that one wants to do more as the feeling that time is running out?
