Winter makes the trees seem very barren and cold in the this part of Taiwan but it makes the ground seem so much more interesting. It's not as beautiful as fall in Antigonish: that was a beautiful drive along highway 4 en-route to St. Francis Xavier University. Catriona loves the leaves on the ground as they make a great sound when you jump on them. I like the sound too.

Hi Clark,
I'm just wondering about what lens and settings that you used for this shot. Did you use a large f/stop like f1.8? The reason I ask is that some parts are sharp and some parts are noticeably blurry - sort of like a lensbaby shot. I like the colors of this shot.
