A house mailbox in a part of Hsinchu that reputedly is facing the wrecking ball. Whole areas of old houses and buildings are supposedly being torn down. Though likely constructed to a rather rather poor standard these neighborhoods are far more interesting than most new developments here. It's interesting to walk through the narrow alleys and see people living there lives. Tall high-rise apartment buildings are never constructed with any sense of intimacy or community.
