It's the real thing. Hsinchu, Taiwan

A case of coke outside an "electronica type lounge" in downtown Hsinchu. I can't remember the name of the bar, though it did influence my DM for my Quietplease! exhibition. I know the area simply by accident and return due to it having a nice play set for Catriona. It's close to FE21.

"The wave shape (known as the "dynamic ribbon device") present on all Coca-Cola cans (and the crate above) throughout the world derives from the contour of the original Coca-Cola bottles." The wikipedia is a great provider of general knowledge.

When I was really young, vs. childish now, coke in conjunction with a lack of exercise was responsible for me being a husky boy. Husky being the polite name mothers said to describe their fat kids. I ate well but drank 3 bottles of that crap a day. I believe I read somewhere that people in the US drink more coke than water - that and supersized meaty portions might be why everyone is so big.

I stopped drinking regular coke a long time ago and in recent years developed an addiction for Diet Coke. No sugar but mysterious chemicals. The caffeine was effecting my sleep so I gave that up recently as well. Only 1 or 2 stores in Taiwan, that I know of, sell caffeine free diet coke so for now I settle for water and cranberry juice. I'm still overweight (another polite term for fat).

The "real thing" but it just tastes different where ever you are. Maybe its the water, or the concentrate, or something completely different.

I drank a lot of that stuff as a kid too. Now I'm trying to cut it out of my diet, along with all the strange chemicals we put in our food... In fact, I'm drinking a glass of water right now.
