According to all the news reports typhoon Longwang was to "lash" Taiwan over the weekend. Not to be taken too lightly Longwang did "pound" Taiwan on Sunday, leaving 34 people injured, disrupting air traffic, destroying power lines and uprooting trees. Where I live it went by relatively unnoticed.
Prior to it's arrival I decided to take Catriona out somewhere special that we hadn't been to before. Luckily she is easy to please, some sand and some open space is all she needs. We got lost and ended up very close to the Lakeshore hotel. Closer to our intended destination than I realised.
Though she complains in her own way that I seem to spend all my time with her taking pictures, she does manage to cooperate and stand still for a brief second, resulting in this shot.
