Sunset. Danshui, Taiwan

I'm still barely functioning due to this cold in my chest - ugly evil things are coming up, yech. On another weblog of mine I published an entry showing my daughter Catriona's first attempt at photography. She had borrowed one of my lomos and managed a shot of her dad. Well after that experience and her constantly watching me take photographs of her she has taken to pretending to take pictures with a toy camera of her babysitters. This Christmas I bought her her own fixed focus 35mm camera. It's waterproof and comes in brilliant orange. A simple winding mechanism and big push button are all the controls. She was pretty happy that Santa gave such a great gift and I can't wait to try it out myself. I bought it 7-11 for $350NT, pretty cheap for what should be a fun toy.

This shot was taken at Danshui on the docks. A place famous for it's brilliant sunsets.
