The gray concrete and sky make a suitable backdrop for a child with a personality of such colour. She has started to get used to me taking her picture and will sometimes strike a pose. Not in the same sense as Taiwanese girls who will go to great lengths to find that perfect staged picture but for a two year she has some fun with it.
This park is one of the few places in Hsinchu that isn't crowded. We have been there on a weekday and it's eerily empty.
