This was a great day. I went with Chientai, Rita, Anita, and Celia to enjoy some lunch at this tea house in Beipoo, just outside hsinchu. I wish I could remember the name of this tea house but i am sure it would be quite easy to find. It's situated in a great old house of traditional architecture. I love these old houses. they bring back a time when the people of Taiwan seemed to place an emphasis on homes with a certain elegance and style. The growth of the home was done over and with at least in my opinion a flare for an interesting aesthetic. Compare a home like this to the ugly monstrosities with their cheap tin roof additions that have been over the past 15 years and you would see why.
